The approximate time needed to learn the basics of a musical instrument or vocals depends on various factors like the student’s learning speed (because every student is unique in their own way), what plan they are choosing (one class a week / two classes a week / three classes a week), and how well they practice at home. But on average, 3 to 4 months are good to learn the basics with steady and disciplined practice.
